The 501 Algerian Suit by Folkwear is an elaborate three-piece ensemble based on a historic Keswa del Mahsour. The pattern includes a jacket, vest and harem-style trousers, along with both traditional and contemporary construction options.

The original suit that inspired the pattern is richly decorated with soutache passementerie. Folkwear includes detailed historical information, authentic detailing instructions, soutache techniques and embroidery designs so you can recreate the traditional look or sew a more contemporary interpretation.
