The Simone Slip by Closet Core Patterns is a contemporary take on an iconic lingerie silhouette. Cut entirely on the bias, Simone is designed to drape beautifully and mold elegantly around the body for luxurious loungewear that can also be styled beyond the bedroom.

Featuring a deep V-neckline, pieced bodice and adjustable rouleau straps, Simone can be made in three lengths: a classic camisole, an above-the-knee slip or a midi slip dress. Choose between an alluring low back or a mid-back for additional coverage, and add the optional lace panel for more coverage at the bust.

Fabric Note: Choose fluid woven fabrics with plenty of drape. Avoid densely woven, stable fabrics that are too structured to drape and conform to the body. If you are new to sewing garments on the bias, very slippery fabrics such as silk charmeuse and satin may be more challenging.

Optional Lace Panel: Use stretch or rigid lace with a scalloped edge measuring at least 4" / 10 cm wide.
