This Ponte de Roma fabric is a substantial double-knit fabric with excellent stretch, structure and recovery. Made from a rayon, nylon and spandex blend, it combines a smooth hand with enough body to create comfortable garments that maintain their shape.

At 320 gsm, this medium-to-heavyweight stretch knit fabric is particularly well suited to garments that benefit from both comfort and structure. Its 40% crossgrain stretch and 20% lengthwise stretch provide flexibility while the dense Ponte knit construction offers more stability than many lighter jersey fabrics.

Recommended Uses: Pants, trousers, fitted dresses, skirts, blazers, jackets, structured tops and other stretch garments.

Care Instructions: Machine wash in cold water. Do not bleach. Tumble dry on low. This fabric may shrink by at least 10% during the first wash.

We recommend pre-washing your fabric using the same method you intend to use for your finished garment before cutting and sewing.
