The 157 Moroccan Djellaba by Folkwear is a loose-fitting hooded caftan inspired by the traditional Djellaba worn throughout the Maghreb region of North Africa.

Designed with long square sleeves, a distinctive hood and practical pockets, this versatile pattern includes four versions. Choose between a traditional ankle-length Djellaba or a more modern upper calf-length version, then make it with a centre-front zipper or as a pullover.

Depending on your fabric and styling, the Djellaba can be worn as a robe, beach cover-up, jacket or simple dress. Add embroidery, ribbon or decorative trim around the neckline, front, hood or sleeves to create a unique version.
