The 254 Swing Coat by Folkwear is an easy, breezy unlined coat with a dramatic swing silhouette and simple construction. With just four main pattern pieces, this is an approachable outerwear project with plenty of impact.

The front pieces extend around the neckline and join at the centre back to create the collar, while the back is sewn into a yoke with a deep pleat that gives the coat its characteristic fullness and movement.

The sleeves taper toward the wrist, allowing them to be pushed up for a relaxed look while staying comfortably in place. Choose between side-seam pockets or patch pockets to customize your coat.
