The 235 Sporty Forties' Dress by Folkwear is a classic 1940s shirtwaist dress inspired by the practical yet polished fashions of the wartime era. Clean lines, economical fabric use and tailored details create a timeless silhouette that works beautifully in both historical and contemporary wardrobes.

The dress buttons from the bodice all the way down to the just-below-the-knee hem. The bodice features soft pleats extending from the shoulder seams into the waistband, while the skirt has knife pleats at the front for ease of movement. Two breast pockets complete the classic shirtwaist design.

View A features short sleeves with pleated shoulder detailing, while View B features long sleeves with the same shoulder pleat detail.
