The 220 Garden Party Dress by Folkwear recreates the graceful silhouette of the early 1910s, when Edwardian fashion was transitioning toward a straighter, slimmer and less restrictive shape while retaining the delicate lace and feminine detailing of the previous era.

The bodice features soft gathers below a square yoke and at the waist, with two wide flanges emphasizing the princess line. Both versions have three-quarter-length sleeves eased into wide below-the-elbow cuffs and a buttoned centre-back opening.

View A is a contemporary interpretation featuring a self-bias-bound jewel neckline, self-fabric flanges and a gathered mid-calf-length dirndl skirt.

View B is the traditional version, featuring a lowered square neckline and an ankle-length skirt darted into the waist. Lace or eyelet embellishes the flanges, cuffs and yoke for an elegant period-inspired finish.
