The 109 Little Folks sewing pattern by Folkwear is an international collection of eight garments for babies and toddlers, inspired by traditional clothing from Japan, Mexico, Korea, Nepal, Morocco and Turkey.

The collection includes clothing for infants as well as garments in toddler sizes 2 and 4. Each design includes its own sewing instructions, and the pattern also explores decorative handwork techniques such as embroidery, appliqué, quilting, hand stitching and traditional seam finishes.

• Fabric: Medium-weight cotton
• Yardage: 1/2 yd / 0.5 m each of two fabrics, any width
• Notions: 4 1/2 yds / 4.15 m single-fold bias tape
• 24" / 61 cm double-fold bias tape

2. Mexican Dress | 6–18 Months

• Fabric: Medium- or lightweight cotton such as broadcloth
• , batiste or muslin
• Yardage: 3/4 yd of 45" / 115 cm or 60" / 150 cm wide fabric
• Notions: 1/4" / 6 mm wide ribbon for drawstrings, or self-made ties

3. Mexican Baby Shirt | Birth–15 lbs / 6.8 kg

• Fabric: Medium- or lightweight cotton such as batiste, broadcloth
