The 128 Russian Settlers' Dress sewing pattern by Folkwear recreates a complete traditional ensemble inspired by the clothing of Russian Old Believer communities. The pattern includes a Jumper or Sundress (serafan), Blouse (rukava) and Apron (zapon), along with traditional embellishment techniques.

The Jumper or Sundress is loose and full, gathered into a fitted band positioned just above the bust. The back may be made with traditional fullness or in a narrower version, while shoulder straps join at the centre back. Wear it alone as a sundress or layer it over the blouse.

The hip-length Blouse features a gathered body and sleeves finished with a narrow neckband. The shoulder yokes may be embellished with traditional Igolochkoy Russian punch-needle embroidery or cross-stitch.

The Apron ties at the waist and features a pleated bib, skirt and flounce. A narrow ribbon holds the bib pleats in place and forms ties at the back of the neck.

The pattern also includes historical information and instructions for traditional decorative techniques, including embroidery, punch-needle work and pleating.
