The 126 Vests from Greece & Poland sewing pattern by Folkwear brings together three traditional vest designs inspired by garments from Greece and Poland.

The pattern includes a Short Greek Vest, a dramatic mid-calf Long Greek Vest, and a fitted Polish Vest with two decorative tab variations.

These designs offer wonderful opportunities for embroidery, appliqué, braid, soutache, beads, sequins and other traditional-inspired embellishments. Instructions and designs for authentic decorative techniques are included with the pattern.

• One 1/4" / 6 mm round button for neck closure, or one purchased frog, or one decorative hook and eye
• 4 yds / 3.66 m of 1/2" / 13 mm wide bias fold-over braid for binding – optional on lined version

Long Greek Vest:

• 8 1/4 yds / 7.55 m of 1/2" / 13 mm wide bias fold-over braid for binding
• 3/4 yd / 69 cm of 1/8"–1/4" / 3–6 mm decorative cord for front opening tie – optional

Polish Vest:

• 22" / 56 cm of 1/4" / 6 mm wide feather boning
• 10 metal rings, 5/8"–3/4" / 1.5–2 cm in diameter
• 2 yds / 1.83 m woven-edge satin ribbon or cording for front tie, 1/2" / 13 mm wide or narrower
