Recommended Fabrics

Many different fabrics can be used for the Moonshine Fanny Pack, so feel free to get creative. If your outer fabric is soft or flexible and may stretch or distort, choose a lining with more structure to help the bag keep its shape when filled.

Fabric Requirements

Recommended yardage for 140 cm / 55" wide fabric:

• Size L: 35 cm main fabric / 40 cm lining
• Size XL: 40 cm main fabric / 50 cm lining

Supplies Needed

• Strap: 30 mm wide × 70 cm long for size L
• Strap: 30 mm wide × 100 cm long for size XL
• 1 fanny pack buckle
• 1 sliding buckle
• 1 zipper with double sliders back to back, 6 mm teeth
• Usable zipper length: 53 cm for size L / 42.5 cm for size XL
• Matching sewing thread

Please note: For zippers, the stated length is the usable length, meaning the visible length once the zipper has been sewn in. If buying zipper by the metre, choose a length approximately 5 cm longer than the usable length to make sewing easier.
