The 140 Flamenco Dress & Practice Skirt sewing pattern by Folkwear creates a dramatic Flamenco-inspired ensemble designed for dancing, performance, costume or statement occasion wear.

The Flamenco Dress features a semi-fitted silhouette shaped with princess seams that begin at the shoulders rather than the armholes, allowing greater freedom of movement. It has a V-neckline at the front, a scoop back neckline, flounced cap sleeves and four spectacular rows of circular flounces attached to foundation tiers.

The Practice Skirt features a raised waistline, back waist darts and up to three rows of flounces. Make the full three-flounce version for dancing, or use fewer flounces for a simpler silhouette. A one-flounce version can also be made as a shorter everyday skirt.

The pattern also includes instructions for making a simple fabric rose accessory that can be attached to the dress or worn in the hair.
