A striking specialty textile from Nadya Toto designer deadstock, this Italian-made woven combines polyester, cotton and Lurex to create a luminous metallic surface available in Gold and Silver.

What makes this fabric particularly interesting is its interfaced backing. The backing stabilizes the woven and gives it a structured, firm hand rather than the fluid drape typically associated with apparel fabrics. It cuts into defined shapes beautifully, making it especially interesting for creative sewing techniques where structure and a metallic accent are desired.

We particularly love this fabric for appliqué and textile embellishment. Cut it into geometric, abstract or decorative shapes and apply it to garments, bags, costumes or textile projects to introduce a bold Gold or Silver accent.

It is also an excellent choice for structured accessories, costume details, theatrical work, decorative sewing and creative craft projects. Because this is designer deadstock, quantities are limited and cannot necessarily be restocked once sold out.

FAQ

Is this an apparel fabric?
This is primarily a specialty structured textile rather than a traditional drapey apparel fabric. We recommend it especially for appliqué, embellishment, accessories, costumes and decorative sewing.

Is the fabric already interfaced?
Yes. The reverse has an interfaced backing that provides additional structure and stability.

Is it suitable for appliqué?
Yes. Its stabilized construction makes it particularly interesting for cutting into shapes and creating metallic appliqués and decorative textile details.

Can I use it for bag making?
Yes. It can be used for decorative bag panels, clutches, pockets and other structured accents. The metallic surface makes it especially effective as a statement detail.

Does it stretch?
No. This is a non-stretch woven fabric.

Due to the different color variations of each monitor and mobile device, we cannot guarantee the color will exactly match what you see online.
