The 224 Beautiful Dreamer sewing pattern by Folkwear recreates an elegant feminine gown inspired by a 1902 Sears, Roebuck catalog design. Originally offered as an affordable muslin nightgown, this flowing Edwardian-inspired style can be sewn as romantic sleepwear, a dramatic dress or a beautiful historical garment.

The pattern includes two views and two lengths. Both feature a full, flowing silhouette with three deep box pleats at the back, a gathered front that joins a gently rounded ruffled bodice yoke, side seam godets for subtle flare and long puffed sleeves finished with wristbands and graceful ruffles.

View A features a ruffled neckline and finishes just below the knee. View B has a wide triangular ruffled collar and the traditional ankle-length silhouette.

Both views include a deep buttoned opening at the left front. The instructions also explain how to omit the placket to create a slip-over gown.
