The 212 Five Frontier Shirts sewing pattern by Folkwear brings together five distinctive Western shirt styles inspired by 19th-century frontier clothing and contemporary Western wear. Choose from a lace-front shirt, square bib, shaped firefighter's bib, dramatic bull's-head yoke or classic curved yoke.

Views A, B & C are traditional loose-fitting 19th-century shirts. They feature a pointed collar, shaped back yoke, long sleeves with shaped cuffs and a shirt-tail hem. View A has a simple slashed lace-up front. View B adds a removable button-front square bib, while View C features a shaped bib inspired by traditional firefighters' shirts.

Views D & E are more fitted contemporary Western shirts designed for both women and men. Both feature decorative yokes, piped trim and distinctive “smile” pockets. View D has Folkwear's dramatic bull's-head yoke and decorative sleeve plackets, while View E features a simpler curved Western yoke.

The pattern also includes Cowboy Lore & Special Techniques with historical information and authentic detailing, including techniques for piped trim, handmade eyelets and pocket embroidery.
