The 234 Cameos sewing, knitting and crochet pattern by Folkwear includes four feminine camisole designs inspired by late Victorian clothing: two camisoles to sew, one to knit and one to crochet.

Both sewn camisoles button at the front and draw inspiration from garments dating to the late 19th century. Wear them as beautiful period-inspired lingerie, as delicate blouses, or incorporate them into historical and theatrical costumes.

The Long-Sleeved Camisole, inspired by an English garment from around the turn of the 20th century, features a softly gathered peplum and groups of decorative tucks with optional lace insertion. The scoop neckline is adjusted with a drawstring and beautifully finished with inserted lace, beading and lace edging. A second drawstring defines the waist, while lace edging finishes the peplum and tucked cuffs.

The Sleeveless Camisole, inspired by a garment from around 1890, is closely fitted through princess seams and darts before flaring below the waist at the back to accommodate the fashionable bustle silhouette of the period. View A features a plain yoke, while View B adds delicate tucking and optional lace insertion to the front and back yokes.

The Knitted Camisole, designed by Candi Jensen, features short puffed sleeves, a scoop slip-over neckline, self-drawstring waist and short peplum. Its simple eyelet lace stitch creates an airy open-work texture that can be worn alone or layered over another garment.

The Crocheted Camisole is a sleeveless scoop-neck camisole or vest featuring an easy double-crochet stitch with an eyelet design at centre front. Chain-stitch scalloped edging finishes the neckline, armholes and front opening, while a drawstring accents the waist.
