Birth of a Nation

This work is more of a chronicle of a scientific adventure, the common thread of which is both fieldwork and a quest for origins. The author of the discovery recounts what was for him a true archaeological saga, with its ups and downs, emotional moments, questions, and unexpected encounters. He also explores the historical context, examining the remains of the first Hebrew settlements and proposing an original scenario for the emergence of the ancient sons of Israel. Finally, he depicts the controversy over biblical interpretation that it sparked within his profession and the resonance this story found around the world.
