The Gospel of Matthew – Segond 21

The first of the four Gospels, Matthew brings us into the heart of the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. His account presents Jesus as the Messiah foretold in the Scriptures, the one in whom the promises made to God's people are fulfilled.

From his birth to his resurrection, the Gospel allows us to discover the words, teachings, miracles, and encounters that marked Jesus' ministry. A special place is given to his teaching on the Kingdom of God, the call to repentance, and the way his disciples are called to live out their faith.

This Segond 21 edition, designed to use current French while remaining faithful to the biblical text, offers an accessible and direct reading of the Gospel of Matthew.

A convenient small format to read, reread, and meditate on the words of Jesus, whether for a first discovery of the Gospel or to nourish one's daily Bible reading.
