Ray Bradbury: Dandelion Wine
Ray Douglas Bradbury is a Pulitzer Prize winner and a classic of science fiction. His works "Fahrenheit 451" and "The Martian Chronicles" have captivated the world. The novel "Dandelion Wine" is written in the autofiction genre. It weaves together elements of fairy tales and fantasy. Young Douglas dives headlong into the summer of 1928. A mysterious ravine lies in wait for him, where the Lonely One is hidden. Together with his younger brother, Douglas tries to save the Tarot Witch. Old Colonel Freeleigh turns into a time machine and takes the boys on a journey through the days of his youth. A Happiness Machine rumbles quietly in a neighbor's garage, and the conviction grows in Douglas’s soul that elderly people were never children.
All these stories are like a bunch of dandelions. Bradbury turned them into tart wine, put it in a book, and placed it on a shelf so that, at the right moment, everyone could taste the flavor of summer and life.
The cover design is inspired by the "quiet luxury" and "old money" styles.
