• Trim each stem about 1–2 cm (½ inch) at a 45° angle before placing the bouquet in a clean vase.
• Fill the vase with fresh, cool water and add the included flower food.
• Change the water every 2–3 days, cleaning the vase and trimming the stems each time.
• Sunflowers and lilies are thirsty flowers, so check the water level daily and refill as needed.
• As the lilies begin to bloom, gently remove the orange pollen (anthers) to prevent staining and help extend the beauty of the flowers.
• Remove any leaves below the waterline to reduce bacteria growth and keep the water fresh.
• Keep the bouquet in a cool location away from direct sunlight, heat sources, air conditioners, and drafts.
• Avoid placing the arrangement near ripening fruits, as ethylene gas can shorten the lifespan of fresh flowers.
• Remove faded blooms as they naturally age to keep the bouquet looking fresh and allow the remaining flowers to continue blooming.
