• Trim each stem about 1–2 cm (½ inch) at a 45° angle before placing the arrangement in a clean vase.
• Fill the vase with fresh, cool water and add the included flower food.
• Hydrangeas are especially thirsty, so check the water level daily and refill as needed to keep the blooms hydrated.
• Replace the water every 2–3 days, cleaning the vase and trimming the stems each time.
• Remove any leaves below the waterline to help prevent bacteria from developing.
• Keep the arrangement in a cool location away from direct sunlight, heating vents, air conditioners, and drafts.
• Avoid placing the flowers near ripening fruits, as ethylene gas can shorten the life of fresh blooms.
• Remove faded flowers as they naturally age to keep the arrangement looking fresh and allow the remaining blooms to last longer.
