Smoke dining chair

Don't burn the dinner — burn the dining chair! Signed by Maarten Baas, the Smoke Dining Chair captures the beauty and character of burned wood in a long-lasting material, creating the strange sensation of sitting on burnt furniture. Fascinated by fire, Maarten Baas turned it into a groundbreaking approach, capturing the flames within the solidity of wood. Each chair is unique: like the Phoenix, the Smoke objects are reborn from their ashes with new vitality and beauty.
