Future fossils rug

The Future Fossils Slate carpet by Moooi, designed by Kilian Vos in 2026, explores the intersection of digital creation and physical materiality. Created entirely through generative CGI, its composition evokes imagined geological formations and synthetic stones shaped by code rather than time. Both organic and artificial, the design transforms the floor into an intriguing visual landscape filled with striking detail. The carpet features a polyamide pile with a woven polypropylene textile backing.
