Built for high-output front-of-house sound, live music, DJ performances, stage monitoring, and installed systems, this active two-way loudspeaker delivers the deepest low-frequency extension in the DXR mk3 range. Its proprietary 15in woofer with a 3in voice coil produces powerful bass and midrange output, while the 1.75in compression-driver diaphragm maintains clear and precise high-frequency reproduction.
The bi-amplified Class-D system provides 2000W peak and 1000W RMS power, with dedicated amplifier channels for each driver. It produces up to 134dB measured peak SPL across a 46Hz to 20kHz frequency range. The large horn maintains controlled 90° horizontal by 60° vertical coverage for consistent audience-area performance.
FIR-X tuning uses linear-phase FIR filtering to optimize crossover response and minimize phase distortion. Yamaha Drive Motion Calibration analyzes and corrects woofer movement to produce more linear low-frequency reproduction and support long-term reliability. Multiple DSP modes adapt the speaker for front-of-house, monitor, DJ, live music, and speech applications.
Bluetooth audio streaming and D-Remote application control provide convenient wireless operation and monitoring. The built-in intelligent feedback suppressor detects and reduces feedback frequencies automatically. Dual-angle pole sockets, rigging points, monitor positioning, and optional U-bracket compatibility support mobile and permanent installations.
