Designed for portable sound reinforcement, live performances, DJ systems, and fixed installations, this compact passive subwoofer delivers powerful low-frequency extension from an enclosure that remains manageable for transport and setup. Its proprietary 12in long-excursion woofer uses a durable 3in voice coil to provide controlled, high-output bass with excellent reliability.
The acoustically optimized band-pass enclosure uses a large port and carefully engineered airflow to reduce wind noise and other unwanted cabinet sounds at high output levels. Its plywood construction and durable polyurea coating provide the strength required for regular touring and professional installation.
With a 4Ω nominal impedance, 650W program power handling, and 1300W peak capacity, the speaker can produce up to 125dB calculated peak SPL. Its passive frequency range extends from 42Hz to 180Hz, while compatible Yamaha processing can extend response down to 38Hz. Dual SpeakON connectors simplify system wiring, and the integrated M20 and 35mm pole sockets support a wide range of full-range speaker configurations.
