This medium-format passive subwoofer combines substantial low-frequency output with a practical enclosure size for touring systems, clubs, houses of worship, mobile DJs, and installed sound applications. A proprietary 15in woofer with a 3in voice coil delivers deep, controlled bass while maintaining the durability required for professional use.
Its band-pass cabinet design uses carefully optimized ports to minimize turbulence and unwanted noise, allowing the woofer to maintain clarity at higher sound-pressure levels. The enclosure is constructed from acoustically optimized plywood and finished with a rugged polyurea coating that resists scratches and impact during transportation and installation.
The 4Ω system handles 650W program and 1300W peak power, producing up to 126dB calculated peak SPL. Its passive frequency range reaches from 40Hz to 180Hz, with compatible Yamaha extended processing reaching down to 35Hz. SpeakON input and output connectors support simple daisy-chained wiring, while M20 and 35mm pole sockets accommodate different loudspeaker mounting systems.
