Yamaha DXS12MK3 12in 1500W Active Subwoofer
Yamaha DXS12MK3 12in 1500W Active Subwoofer
Combining powerful low-frequency output with a portable enclosure, this active band-pass subwoofer is designed for mobile DJs, live bands, corporate productions, houses of worship, and professional rental systems. Its proprietary 12in long-excursion woofer and durable 3in voice coil deliver deep and precise bass from a compact cabinet.
A newly developed Class-D amplifier produces 2500W peak and 1250W RMS output, allowing the subwoofer to reach a maximum measured level of 132dB SPL. The band-pass plywood enclosure uses large, optimized ports to reduce wind noise and maintain clean reproduction at high output levels. A rugged polyurea finish protects the cabinet during transport and installation.
The integrated 32-bit, 96kHz DSP provides adjustable crossover settings, delay, parametric EQ, routing, and D-XSUB processing. NORMAL mode delivers balanced general-purpose bass, while XTENDED LF mode expands low-frequency response down to 38Hz. Cardioid mode allows two or more compatible subwoofers to reduce low-frequency energy behind the system.
An LCD screen and rotary encoder provide direct control of processing parameters and stored presets. Bluetooth connectivity supports audio streaming and remote operation through the Yamaha D-Remote application. Dual pole sockets, optional casters, and an available protective cover complete a flexible professional subwoofer system.
