XLN Audio XO Expansion: IDM
An expansion for XLN Audio XO focused on IDM-oriented electronic beat production. It extends the XO environment with additional genre-focused one-shot samples and fully editable rhythmic material while retaining XO’s visual sample-browsing, sequencing, sound-swapping, and beat-generation workflow.
Expansion sequences can be opened directly in XO’s sequencer and edited rather than being limited to fixed audio loops. Individual hits can be replaced with other sounds in the expansion, XO’s Core Content, or compatible samples from the user’s own library. XO can also search for sonically similar neighboring samples, making it possible to generate new variations while maintaining the basic character of a beat.
