Steinberg FM Lab
Steinberg FM Lab
Steinberg FM Lab is an advanced FM synthesizer for HALion that combines the unmistakable character of classic digital synthesis with a modern and highly visual sound-design workflow. Its eight-operator FM engine can be combined with virtual analog synthesis, making it possible to create everything from crystalline bells, electric keys and metallic percussion to aggressive basses, evolving pads and complex experimental textures.
The flexible Algorithm Designer allows each operator to modulate other operators or itself, including feed-forward and feedback configurations. An Algorithm Finder provides quick access to structures inspired by classic Yamaha DX7, TX81Z and FM-X synthesis. FM Lab also features freely drawable multi-stage envelopes, extensive modulation, an arpeggiator and a five-slot insert rack with 20 high-quality effects.
