It was recorded at Yamaha Studios in Los Angeles using a specially developed precision robotic system that allowed extremely accurate and repeatable velocity sampling across the keyboard.
The natural felt piano can be blended with a collection of cinematic texture layers specifically designed to complement its warm and melancholic character. These textures were created from a wide range of acoustic, orchestral and electronic sources, allowing Verve to move seamlessly from realistic felt piano tones to evolving hybrid soundscapes.
