Steinberg The Grand 3
Steinberg The Grand 3 is a premium virtual piano suite featuring five deeply sampled instruments covering concert grands, upright piano and electric grand piano. The collection includes a Bösendorfer 290 Imperial, Steinway D, Yamaha C7, Nordiska Upright Piano and the classic Yamaha CP80 Electric Grand.
The acoustic instruments were captured with detailed microphone setups and extensive velocity sampling to reproduce changes in tone and dynamics across the complete keyboard range. Sustain and sostenuto pedal behavior, mechanical noises and resonance contribute additional realism, while selectable microphone perspectives provide flexibility for fitting the pianos into different productions.
