Steinberg Etude
Steinberg Etude
Steinberg Etude is a premium virtual grand piano based on a carefully sampled Yamaha C3X. Recorded in a room acoustically designed specifically for piano performance and listening, Etude delivers a balanced sound with detailed upper harmonics, a warm low register and a highly expressive dynamic response.
The instrument contains approximately 18 GB of compressed samples derived from roughly 45 GB of original recordings. Every key was chromatically sampled across 12 dynamic layers. Its integrated mixer provides four independent microphone perspectives — Player, Mid, Tail and Room — while adjustable sustain resonance, sympathetic resonance, adaptive release samples and mechanical piano noises provide extensive control over realism and ambience.
