Ik Multimedia MODO BASS SE

IK Multimedia MODO BASS SE

IK Multimedia MODO BASS SE is a physically modeled electric bass virtual instrument designed to reproduce the sound and performance behavior of real bass guitars without relying on conventional multisample playback. IK's real-time physical modeling technology recreates the interaction between strings, neck, body, electronics and player technique, allowing the instrument to respond dynamically to MIDI performances.

This Special Edition includes two classic bass models: a '60s P-Bass and a '70s P-Bass. Despite the reduced model selection, MODO BASS SE provides the complete original MODO BASS performance and modeling engine, giving users detailed control over the instrument, player and amplification stages.

Players can modify performance techniques, string characteristics, playing position, pickup behavior and other physical parameters. Controls for elements such as string age and type, hand position and pickup position allow the same bass model to produce a wide range of tones. Amplifier and effects processing complete the signal chain for production-ready bass sounds.
