Build a powerful MIDI-to-CV interface for connecting modern MIDI controllers, computers, USB devices, and hardware sequencers to a Eurorack system. MIDI Thing V2 provides 12 configurable ports that can be assigned to pitch, gates, triggers, envelopes, LFOs, clock signals, and other MIDI-controlled functions.
An integrated display provides direct access to the configuration menus, while the online editor offers an additional way to create and manage setups. TRS Type A MIDI input and output, USB host, and USB device connections provide extensive integration options. MIDI merge functionality also allows information from multiple sources to be combined and transmitted.
The module can handle polyphonic notes and convert a wide variety of MIDI messages into control voltages. Compatibility with the VCV Rack Bridge further expands its usefulness in hybrid hardware and software systems.
