Befaco Octaves VCO DIY Additive OscillaTor Kit
Build a distinctive additive oscillator designed for stacked square-wave harmonics, retro digital tones, and powerful sub and octave textures. Octaves VCO generates six frequency bands derived from the base oscillator, with each band producing a progressively doubled frequency.
Each octave includes individual volume control and voltage-controlled level adjustment. The outputs are arranged in a cascading configuration, allowing all active octaves to be combined through one output or separated into multiple independently controlled groups.
Common pulse-width modulation shapes all six bands simultaneously, while synchronization and tuning controls provide additional interaction with external oscillators and sequencers. The result ranges from simple square waves to dense, harmonically rich walls of lo-fi sound.
