Caroline Guitar Company Aaron Graves Overdrive
Caroline Guitar Company Aaron Graves Overdrive
The Aaron Graves Overdrive is a versatile preamp and overdrive pedal built to cover everything from subtle signal enhancement and edge-of-breakup tones to thicker, more saturated drive sounds. Its circuit is designed to retain clarity and note separation as the gain increases, making it useful for both rhythm playing and more aggressive lead tones. The pedal offers two distinct drive voicings, allowing you to move between a more traditional preamp-style response and a harder, more power amp-inspired clipping character.
A selectable bass response makes it easier to adapt the pedal to different guitars, pickups, amplifiers and playing styles. Lower-output single coils can be given more weight, while humbuckers and darker rigs can be kept tighter and more controlled. With plenty of available output, the Aaron Graves Overdrive also works well as a boost into an already-driven amplifier or stacked with other gain pedals for more complex textures.
