Harrison 500 Rack with Dante Card
Harrison 500 Rack with Dante Card
The Harrison 500 Rack with Dante Card combines the D510r ten-slot 500 Series chassis with the D510dante Audio-over-IP interface, creating a powerful bridge between analog 500 Series processing and networked digital audio systems.
The Dante card incorporates high-performance A/D and D/A conversion directly into the D510 architecture, providing 10 analog-to-digital inputs and 14 digital-to-analog outputs. Each of the ten 500 Series module slots can therefore be integrated into a Dante network, allowing processors to be routed from compatible digital consoles, recording systems and other Dante-enabled equipment without the need for a conventional analog patching infrastructure.
This makes it possible to use analog microphone preamps, compressors, EQs and other 500 Series processors as network-accessible hardware inserts. The configuration is especially useful in hybrid studios, broadcast environments, live sound systems and production facilities where Dante is already the primary audio transport format.
The chassis retains its normal analog functionality, so users can combine conventional analog connections with network-based routing depending on the application.
