The Harrison 500 Rack with Mixer and 8x Preamps is a complete analog tracking and mixing system combining the D510r ten-slot chassis, the D510mx analog summing mixer and eight Harrison 32Cpre+ microphone preamps. The configuration creates a compact eight-channel Harrison recording front end with integrated analog summing and monitoring in a 3U rack.
Each of the eight 32Cpre+ modules provides a Jensen JT-MB-CPCA transformer-coupled microphone preamp with +20 to +70 dB of gain, Hi-Z instrument capability and Harrison high-pass and low-pass filters. Phantom power, polarity reverse and input pad controls provide the tools needed for microphones and instruments across a wide range of recording applications.
The D510mx occupies slots 9 and 10 and combines the eight preamp channels into a stereo analog mix bus with individual level and pan controls. Two additional analog inputs can also feed the mixer, resulting in a 10x2 summing architecture. Dual independent headphone outputs provide convenient monitoring for performers and engineers.
The result is a portable Harrison recording system capable of handling multichannel tracking, analog summing, live recording and hybrid production without requiring a full-size console.
