The Harrison Mix Strip 32C is a fully analog 1U channel strip that brings the signal path and processing architecture of Harrison’s flagship 32Classic console into a compact 19 in rackmount format. Designed for recording, mixing and hybrid production, it combines a premium transformer-coupled microphone preamp, line and instrument inputs, classic Harrison filters, four-band parametric EQ, balanced inserts and an integrated stereo summing bus.
The microphone stage uses a Jensen JT-MB-CPCA transformer and provides up to 70 dB of gain, producing the full low end, open mids and smooth high-frequency response associated with Harrison console designs. Dedicated rear-panel microphone and line inputs are complemented by a convenient front-panel combo input with selectable microphone and Hi-Z instrument operation. Phantom power, a -20 dB pad, polarity reverse and an input signal meter provide essential recording controls.
The EQ section features the four-band proportional-Q design found in the 32Classic console, complemented by wide-ranging high-pass and low-pass filters. A balanced insert point allows external processing to be inserted between the input and EQ stages.
An integrated stereo mix bus allows multiple Mix Strips to be linked together, creating a scalable analog mixer or console sidecar one channel at a time.
