The Harrison 500-Series Chassis is built around the D510r, a professional ten-slot 500 Series rack designed to serve as an expandable centerpiece for tracking, mixing, live production and hybrid studio workflows. While it functions as a conventional 500 Series chassis with rear-panel analog connections for each module, its architecture also supports Harrison’s optional analog summing mixer and digital interface cards, allowing the system to grow far beyond a traditional module rack.
The rugged 3U steel enclosure incorporates a high-capacity internal power supply designed to provide additional power and headroom for demanding 500 Series modules. Users can populate the ten slots with Harrison modules or other compatible 500 Series processors, creating custom combinations of preamps, EQs, compressors and other analog processing.
Optional D510mx, D510dante and D510ua expansion modules can transform the chassis into an analog summing mixer, a Dante-connected processing system or a USB/ADAT-equipped hybrid production hub. This modular approach makes the D510r equally suited to permanent studio installations, portable recording rigs and live production systems.
