The Sennheiser MZF 8000 II is an inline filter module designed for microphones in the MKH 8000 Series. It installs between a compatible microphone capsule and output module, adding useful signal-conditioning controls directly within the microphone system.
A switchable roll-off filter helps reduce unwanted low-frequency energy caused by wind, handling noise, room vibration, and proximity effects. A switchable -10 dB attenuation function provides additional headroom when recording high sound-pressure-level sources.
The modular design maintains the compact form factor of the MKH 8000 system while expanding its flexibility for demanding location, studio, broadcast, and orchestral recording applications.
