The Mackie Thump12v4 packs the processing and connectivity of the ThumpV4 platform into a compact 12-inch powered loudspeaker suitable for live performers, DJs, presentations, houses of worship and mobile sound systems. Its 1400W Class-D amplifier powers a 12-inch high-performance woofer and 1-inch Lavoce Italiana compression driver, delivering up to 129 dB maximum SPL with low-frequency response down to 47 Hz.
Four SoundCheck DSP voicing modes optimize the response for different applications. Flat maintains a neutral tonal balance, DJ enhances music playback, Live emphasizes clarity for vocals and events, and Wedge configures the speaker for stage-monitor use. Feedback Eliminator helps control microphone feedback, Music Ducking automatically lowers playback during announcements, and Outdoor mode compensates for sound changes in outdoor environments.
A built-in mixer offers two XLR/TRS combo inputs, mic/line selection and a 1/8-inch auxiliary input. Bluetooth supports wireless playback and speaker-to-speaker linking, while the Thump Connect 2 app provides remote control of EQ and speaker settings.
