The Atomos StudioSonic Shotgun Microphone is a professional supercardioid production microphone that supports both wireless and wired operation. Designed for filmmaking, interviews, journalism, documentary work, content creation, and broadcast applications, it provides flexible connectivity without requiring separate microphones for wired and wireless workflows.
The microphone captures 24-bit/48kHz digital audio and offers a wide 20Hz to 20kHz frequency response. Wireless transmission operates over 2.4GHz with latency below 20ms and a range of up to approximately 100 meters under suitable conditions.
USB-C digital and 3.5mm analog outputs support direct connection to cameras, Atomos products, computers, and other recording equipment. Low-cut filtering, high-frequency boost, adjustable gain, and an OLED display provide additional control on set.
