The Atomos Ninja Phone is a compact video co-processor designed to connect an HDMI-equipped camera to a compatible iPhone or iPad, transforming the mobile device into a professional monitoring, recording, streaming, and connectivity platform. It combines the image quality of a dedicated mirrorless, DSLR, or cinema camera with the display, processing, Wi-Fi, 5G, and app ecosystem of modern Apple mobile devices.

Ninja Phone accepts HDMI video up to 4K30 and transfers the signal to the connected iPhone or iPad over USB. When used with the Mavis Camera app, it provides professional monitoring tools and recording options including Apple ProRes on supported iPhone Pro models, along with H.265 and H.264 formats.

The unit can be powered through USB-C or compatible Sony NP-F batteries and can supply power to the connected mobile device and accessories, making it suitable for compact mobile-production and live-streaming rigs.
