The Doepfer A-100BS3L6v Basic System 3 combines the complete A-100 Basic System 3 module configuration with the black-coated A-100LC6V Low Cost Case. It provides a comprehensive analog modular synthesizer environment with oscillators, filters, VCAs, envelopes, LFOs, mixers, utilities, clock processing, switching, waveshaping, and signal-routing functions in a compact 6U format.

Two A-110-1 Standard VCOs provide the primary analog sound sources. They are complemented by the A-108 multi-slope low-pass filter and A-121-2 multimode filter, both of which can also be driven into self-oscillation for additional sound-generation possibilities. The A-137-1 Wave Multiplier expands the available timbral palette, while the A-184-1 provides ring modulation, sample-and-hold, track-and-hold, and slew functions.

For modulation, the system combines traditional ADSR control with dual envelopes, voltage-controlled LFOs, a voltage-controlled slew processor, clock division, and sequential switching. The A-138 series mixers, A-131 and A-132-3 VCAs, and dual A-180-2 multiples provide extensive signal-management capabilities.

The included A-100LC6V is Doepfer's black-coated version of the 6U Low Cost Case. It provides two 84 HP rows, two bus boards, and an integrated A-100PSU3 power supply. Unlike the P6 suitcase, the LC6V uses a simplified wooden enclosure without a removable transport cover, making it a cost-effective choice for studio and fixed modular installations.

The PSU3 supplies up to 2000 mA at +12V, 1200 mA at -12V, and 4000 mA at +5V. Five 4 HP blank panels are included in the system, leaving room for future expansion. Alex4
