Doepfer A-142-5 1U Dual Decay/LFO

The Doepfer A-142-5 combines two compact envelope generators with looping LFO functionality in a single 1U module. Each section can operate independently as a triggered attack/decay envelope or a continuously cycling A/D LFO.

Each generator provides a Decay control covering approximately 2 ms to 2 seconds. Attack time is adjusted internally from approximately 1 to 15 ms, with a factory setting of approximately 3 ms.

The trigger inputs are normalized from generator 1 to generator 2, making it easy to trigger both envelopes from a single source while retaining independent operation when separate trigger signals are patched.

Each section also features a VCL input for voltage-controlled activation of Loop mode. A high signal of approximately +3.5V or greater activates looping when the corresponding physical Loop switch is off, opening up useful rhythmic and logic-controlled modulation possibilities.

Both sections provide individual outputs with approximately +10V peak levels and LED indication.
