The Doepfer A-138-6v is a versatile six-input mixer for 1U modular systems, providing independent level control and flexible routing to two separate outputs. Each of the six mono inputs features its own linear Level control and three-position assignment switch.
Every input can be routed exclusively to Output 1, simultaneously to both outputs, or exclusively to Output 2. This makes the A-138-6v useful not only as a conventional mixer but also as a compact two-bus routing system for creating separate signal groups, parallel processing paths, submixes, or dual destinations within a modular patch.
All inputs and outputs are monophonic. An optional internal modification allows the Level 1 control to generate an approximately 0 to +5V DC offset whenever nothing is connected to Input 1. This function is disabled from the factory and can be enabled using the module's internal solder bridge.
The Vintage Edition provides the same signal architecture and routing functions as the standard A-138-6 while adding Doepfer's distinctive black Vintage front panel.
