Alexander Pedals Velvet Noise - Stereo Widener
Alexander Pedals Velvet Noise - Stereo Widener.
A single control provides straightforward operation, blending progressively more stereo widening into the original signal. At minimum, the signal remains untouched, while higher settings increase separation and introduce subtle modulation for more extreme stereo effects. Velvet Noise is designed to maintain a stable center image, minimize phase-related artifacts, and avoid the comb filtering commonly associated with traditional stereo widening techniques.
The pedal features mono or stereo TRS input and output connections, making it suitable for stereo pedalboards, studio setups, and other stereo signal chains. A discrete JFET input preamplifier and tailored analog circuitry provide low-noise operation, while buffered bypass and soft-touch switching offer reliable performance.
