The Black Lion Audio Revolution Clock XC is a flagship master word clock designed to provide ultra-stable synchronization for complex digital audio systems. Built around Black Lion Audio’s Macro-MMC clocking technology and Suspended Oscillation design, it delivers extremely low-jitter clock signals across a wide range of digital formats, helping multiple interfaces, converters, processors, and other digital devices operate from a common timing reference.

The Revolution Clock XC uses high-stability MEMS oscillators combined with a vibration-damping suspension system designed to isolate the oscillators from mechanical energy in the studio environment. This architecture contributes to a highly stable clock signal with extremely low jitter.

A total of 14 clock outputs provides extensive connectivity for larger studio installations. Eight BNC outputs handle standard word clock distribution, while two AES/EBU, two coaxial S/PDIF, and two optical S/PDIF outputs accommodate a wide variety of digital equipment. An external BNC clock input also allows the unit to distribute an incoming master clock when required.

BNC word clock operation supports sample rates from 44.1 kHz up to 384 kHz. AES/EBU and coaxial S/PDIF outputs support rates up to 192 kHz, while optical S/PDIF supports rates up to 96 kHz. This broad connectivity makes the Revolution Clock XC suitable for professional recording, mixing, mastering, and multi-device digital audio environments.
