The Hosa DIB-490 Pro-Conex Sidekick is an active stereo DI box designed to connect high-impedance instruments and stereo sources to mixing consoles, audio interfaces, and DAWs. Its dual-channel design supports both stereo and dual-mono signals, making it ideal for keyboards, synthesizers, drum machines, and two separate mono instruments.

Powered by 48V phantom power, the DIB-490 provides a high-headroom active signal path that preserves the natural tone, transient response, and frequency content of your source. Its high input impedance helps prevent the loading of high-impedance signals, keeping your sound clear and responsive.

The DIB-490 features stereo 1/4" inputs, balanced stereo XLR outputs, and stereo 1/4" thru outputs for sending unprocessed signals to another destination. A selectable 0, -15, or -30 dB input pad helps manage hot signals, while the 80 Hz high-pass filter, ground-lift switch, and polarity-reverse switch provide additional signal management and troubleshooting options.
